Where's Grandma?

Today I took Tashi over to my parents house for a visit with my dad, grandpa. She spent the first 10 minutes looking for grandma...searching every room. My mom is off attending a high school reunion in NY, and Tashi misses her a lot! Anyway, my parents have a living room with WHITE carpet. In my 34 years I have never been allowed in the living room, except on special occasions. Well, Tashi just recently discovered this room, and they LET her go in. Can you believe they let her climb on the furniture....with shoes on! This doesn't even comprehend for me...so today when Tashi ran in there and started climbing and touching chachkas.....I froze...I can't go in there I said to my dad...Go Go get her....! My mom called to laugh at me, and I feel like the biggest dork on the planet...still unable to go in the white living room.

Mom, I hope you are enjoying your trip-and don't forget a snow globe for the collection! We all miss you!

Bath time Baby!

Bath time is my favorite time of day. Why? Because it's daddy and Tashi bonding...and all I hear is giggles.
Tasha knows when it's bath time. She will wait for you at the bathroom door. She LOVES the water. For me, it's half an hour of bliss...and clean up and cooking dinner time. When I go peek my head in...this is what I see..
.
MMMM...yummy ducky!

My First Blog

This is our family's first blog. I was always nervous about pictures on the web, and too much info out there, but I have now realized I might be a bit paranoid. All our friends have one, so I guess it's time. After all, we have to remember all the tantrums, giggles and cuddles of our little Natasha (aka...Tasha, Tashi, Tash, she-devil, princess poopy head, and I'm sure there are others).

This past weekend was Fathers Day...and it was a jam packed day, with breakfast at Grandma and Grandpa's, our new Tradition of Desert Ridge Sundays, and the afternoon and dinner with Nana and PopPop, and of course cousins! After all that, I was definately the one in need of a nap, but little miss beat me to it...with her and Isaac falling asleep during PopPop's wagon ride. It was a good day, and I didn't have to watch any backyardigans or curious george all day!!!
